Description of Programs

Early Childhood Program ( Pre-K--1^st)

Campers are lead by certified teachers, who help to prepare the children for school, while also giving them a fun summer! Activities in and around the classroom include basic development and enrichment in literacy, science, music and movement, dramatic play, and more. Classroom events and theme weeks are prepared by the teachers that encourage multi-cultural appreciation, show and tell, and other unique learning opportunities.  Campers will get to go to the Spray Park 3-4 times per week, and the 1^st Grade group also has instructional swim lessons.  Specials are 2-3 times per week and include Instructional sports, Drama/Theater and Arts and Crafts directed by experienced coaches and teachers.  Campers will go on 2-3 full day trips, and will also participate in a variety of special events including visits from storytellers, magicians, and much much more...

Junior and Senior Campers ( 2^nd-6^th)

Groups are lead by experienced staff who are of college age or older.  Campers develop self-confidence while they explore new activities,  develop lasting friendships and have a whole lot of summer fun! Campers' daily activities include recreational swim and swim lessons, and specials such as Drama/Theater, Arts and Crafts and Instructional Sports.  Trips and special games are planned for rainy days. In addition, each group will go on between 4-5 trips per summer. Trips are different depending on the age group, and destinations include museums in the city, water parks, arcades and more!  Special Events take place at least once per week.
