Robert 'Bob' Williams is a longtime Elmsford resident committed to making the Village a great place to live, work and raise a family. Bob maintains deep roots in the community. His mother, Kathleen (Earley) Williams, was born and raised in the Village. As a husband, father and a homeowner, Bob knows the importance of safe neighborhoods, good schools and low taxes, and he wants to again work toward making a difference in the lives of Elmsford's residents.

Bob is a graduate of Valhalla High School, receiving the Hall Scholarship for Volunteerism, which recognized his various philanthropic activities. He went on to study Business Administration at Westchester Community College.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Walter (Willie) Williams, Bob began working at Brookfield Metal Company in Elmsford. He was quickly recognized for his keen leadership and administrative skills, and was chosen to head the Non Ferrous Division as Department Manager in charge of twenty-five people. He is responsible for the overall daily operations of buying, processing and shipping recycled metal.

Bob previously served the Village of Elmsford for ten years from 1990 until 2000 as a Village Trustee. During that time, he took pride in helping people with their individual problems and concerns and worked to improve the Village on all levels. Bob was a partner in the successful economic development efforts to attract new business to revitalize blighted areas while working to maintain the charismatic charm of the Village. He is also credited with founding the Village's successful Recycling Program which is still in use today.

In 1998, Bob was honored to deliver the keynote address at his alma mater during the Valhalla High School Graduation Ceremony.

For nearly 20 years, Bob dedicated his time as an Auxiliary Police Officer. He began in Greenburgh rising to the rank of Lieutenant and then transferred to Elmsford where he left as a Sergeant and President of the outfit.

Bob and his wife Debra have a daughter Lauren and live on Maple street in Elmsford.
