Daniel Pozin is a graduate of Fordham University Law School, and the State University of New York at Albany.  Mr. Pozin has been with the firm of Wormser, Kiely, Galef & Jacobs LLP since 1990.  The firm, with 35 attorneys active in two offices, is engaged in the general practice of law.  Mr. Pozin, who practices in the firm's White Plains office, specializes in municipal law, real estate development, zoning and planning, and environmental law. Mr. Pozin has had extensive municipal experience for other municipal clients, sitting with and advising various municipal boards on a myriad of municipal law issues.  His municipal work has included the preparation of local laws and resolutions, the development and negotiation of public contracts, conducting tax foreclosure proceedings, and consulting on the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), cable television franchising and other regulatory compliance.  Mr. Pozin has extensive experience with various Federal, State and County regulatory agencies and is the firm's resident authority on the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) and advises all of the firm's municipal clients on matters involving the disclosure of public records.
